The top photograph was generously provided by long time Beach resident Gilles Chateau. Gilles was documenting the replacement of the TTC rail lines along Queen Street East in the early 1980s. Many will recall the spring and summer mess of 2005 when lines were again replaced. This view is of the corner of Hambly and Queen, with a 64 Main Street bus turning north. Thanks again Gilles.
