Police seek break-and-enter suspect

A man wanted for two counts of break-and-enter and one theft over $10,000 is the latest ‘Wanted Wednesday’ described by local 55 Division police.

Police allege that Shawn Bland, 35, entered a business near Carlaw Avenue and Gerrard Street after hours on Oct. 24.

According to police, he then broke into a vacant business, climbed into the building next door and stole some computer equipment.

During the break-in, the burglar cut himself and left a blood stain. Police said a forensic examination of the determined that Shawn Bland is the break-and-enter suspect.

Bland is described as white, 5’9, 175 lbs, with a shaved head and blue eyes.
