Nominate the next Citizen of the Year

Nominations are now open for the 2016 Beach Citizen of the Year.

The annual award is given to someone who constantly works to make life better in Ward 32. The person doesn’t have to live here, but their volunteer efforts should mainly take place here.

The initiative was jointly founded in 2001 by Community Centre 55, the Toronto Beaches Lions Club and Beach Metro News.

Past honourees have included local history boosters, service organization founders, Girl Guide leaders and all manner of other local volunteers.
