Legion branches, Balmy Beach Club hosting local New Year’s Eve celebrations

The Royal Canadian Legion Oakridge Branch 73, on Robinson Avenue just north of Danforth Avenue, hosts a New Year's Eve celebration on Dec. 31.

If you are looking to celebrate New Year’s Eve in the neighbourhood, there are a number of events slated for this Monday, Dec. 31, night.

The Royal Canadian Legion’s Branch 11, at 9 Dawes Rd., will host a New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner and Dance.

The dinner starts at 7 p.m. followed by entertainment. Tickets are required to attend. For more information, please call the branch at 416-699-1353.

Also, there’s a New Year’s Eve Dance Party at the Balmy Beach Club.

The celebration goes from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. and is open to the public. DJ-JJ will be spinning the tunes, and there will be party favours plus snack buffet at midnight.

Tickets are $30, plus HST and are available at the bar. No minors, no refunds. If you have a group of 10 or more people please call to reserve a table at 416-691-9691.

The Royal Canadian Legion’s Oakridge Branch 73, at 2 Robinson Ave., is also hosting a New Year’s Eve celebration starting at 8 p.m.

Entertainment is The Addiction, playing favourite 1990s rock songs.
