Two men injured in random stabbing on Danforth Avenue near Main Street on New Year’s Day

A woman has been arrested in connection with the stabbing of two men on New Year's Day near Main Street and Danforth Avenue.

Toronto police have arrested a woman in connection with an incident in which two men were stabbed on New Year’s Day morning in what appears to have been a random attack.

 Police were called to the Main Street and Danforth Avenue area at approximately 2:10 a.m. on Jan. 1 for a report of two men being stabbed.

 The two men’s injuries are not considered life threatening, police said.

 The incident took place on the southeast side of Danforth Avenue and Main Street just west of the Tim Hortons, police said.

 The two victims did not know the accused and had not had an issue or interaction with her prior to the stabbing, police said.
