Police release video of man sought in assault at Danforth and Main area bar

Toronto police are looking for a man in connection with an assault at a bar in the Danforth and Main area.

Toronto police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted in an assault causing bodily harm investigation.

According to police, on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018, at approximately 12:15 a.m., the victim, a 59-year-old man, was inside a bar in the Danforth Avenue and Barrington Avenue (just east of Main Street) area.

Police report the suspect assaulted the man in the bar. The victim was left unconscious on the floor and sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Police said the suspect then left the bar with a woman.
Security footage shows the suspect having a large build with long hair in a ponytail. He was wearing a zip-up sweater, a t-shirt, pants and shoes.
